Welcome back from track out !
In hopes of preparing my class for middle school, this quarter we will be focusing on organization and responsibility skills. I will discuss with the class expectations and how to master these skills this week. You as parents are encouraged to help your student follow through with taking ownership of these goals. Your student will be asked to keep each of their binders in a neat and orderly fashion. In doing so, they will be able to use their notes/class work to their advantage. I will be doing random binder checks through out the quarter to make sure everyone is continuing to be responsible.
Under the Homework tab to the left I have listed this week's homework as well as skills of the week.
Homework is to be completed each night and turned to school the next day. Please make sure your student's agenda is signed each night. If there is ever a question/concern about homework please email me. [email protected]
This week we will be giving many pre-assessments on content not yet covered. This will help us gain a better idea of where each student is academically and how we as a 5th Grade Team should best prepare our lessons for the enrichment of our students.
